Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work:

• Account information — your email address and the authentication provider you sign in with (Apple, Google, or email/password).
• Subscription status — whether your subscription is active, expired, or in a renewal state.
• Training profile — your branch, gender, age band, test type, and target score selections.
• Training session history — session dates, durations, target pace, and self-reported actual pace or result.

What we do not collect. PT Pacer does not currently collect GPS or location data, camera or photo library data, or microphone/voice input.

2. How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account and sign you in.
• To calculate your target pace and cadence from the branch standards you select.
• To store and display your session history and progress over time.
• To determine which features your subscription status unlocks.
• To respond to support requests and send essential service messages about your account.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party ad networks in the app.

3. Third-party services

• Supabase — hosts our backend database and authentication. Your account details, training profile, and session history are stored there.
• RevenueCat and Apple — handle subscription management and payment processing. Purchases are made through your Apple ID. PT Pacer does not receive, process, or store your payment card information; we receive only subscription status signals.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy.

4. Data retention

We keep your account data and session history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account record, training profile, and session history from our production systems, with residual copies removed from routine backups within 30 days. We may retain limited transaction records where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

5. Your rights and choices

You can view and update your training profile at any time inside the app. You can permanently remove your data using the in-app Delete Account feature, which erases your account and associated training history. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of your data or object to certain processing — email us and we'll help.

6. No sale of personal data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Children's privacy

PT Pacer is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our backend provider using access controls that restrict records to the account they belong to. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the data we hold minimal.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and we'll notify you in-app or by email if the changes are material.
